DAYBOOK

Demand for Safaris is very high and can lead to a shortage of lodge/hotel accommodation at times during some seasons. All bookings will be confirmed by us in writing as we confirm beforehand from our suppliers. On occasion, changes may be necessary.

Hotels/lodges/camps where specific names are given as an indication of the category and rooms may be reserved at similar hotels/lodges/camps. We undertake to advise you of any changes known to us before departure, but the possibility of change without notice must be accepted when booking. This rarely happens. Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost.

Safari four-wheel drive vehicles or coaches will be provided according to the route and number of participants and as confirmed to you in your booking confirmation. The right is reserved to employ the services of sub-contractors if necessary. English-speaking chauffeurs/guides are provided.

Occasional mechanical problems, changes of lodge or adverse road conditions may in turn end in a changed routing or game viewing without prior notice being given. Therefore, we reserve the right to offer substitutes of equal value or cancel any tour operation. In practice, very few itineraries are affected but a little flexibility, on your part, will ensure that your tour is unique and rewarding.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport in Hotel shared vehicle. Lunch and dinner on your own arrangement. Overnight at NAIROBI HOTEL. Accommodation: Nairobi Hotel Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast

After breakfast, you will be met by your driver/guide and after a briefing on your safari, drive to Amboseli National Park. Arid looking as Amboseli is, it has historically supported both game and the Masai that kept their herds of cattle here. It is thanks to the waters that run off Africa's greatest mountain that the apparently dry Amboseli, Kenya's first game sanctuary is able to support its wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro broods high over Amboseli, generally cloaked by clouds but appearing in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time. The mountain now provides water for the park, wonderful views, and of course the most glorious background for animal photography. Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive in this scenic and wildlife-rich park. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli National Park. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Full Board.

Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park. We recommend that you get up early morning so you can experience excellent game viewing and an unprecedented view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your safari lodge for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your lodge and take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drive in anticipation of seeing the “BIG FIVE”. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli National Park. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Full Board

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive at your designated lodge for check in followed by lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon either relaxing or going for a walk on the wildlife-infested Crescent Island at an extra cost. Crescent Island is situated in the middle of the freshwater lake. It is quite an experience to walk amongst giraffes, antelopes, and wildebeest and gives you a new perspective of nature and animals close up on foot. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Hotel. Accommodation: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge Meal Plan: Full Board

After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at your Camp. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon unlimited game drive around Masai Mara National Reserve. You may encounter some of the “Big Five” and you will most certainly be impressed by the wide variety of species present in this area. The Maasai Mara has the highest concentration of land mammals compared to any other park or reserve in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Full Board

Spend the whole day with unlimited game drives exploring the Mara, home to the proud and traditional Maasai tribe. The Mara is more than just the most popular wildlife park in the country and in many cases, it is the reason why people come to visit Kenya. This is a classic African savanna, and the sheer density of wildlife is amazing. Gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra graze in large numbers, and where prey is found so are predators. Watered by the Mara River and its tributary the Talek, the park here compromises 1510sq kilometers of open grassland tucked away in the southwest corner of the country. In the Mara, you will see an astonishing amount of wildlife, including the big cats, where lions are found in large pride everywhere and it is not uncommon to see them hunting. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still fairly common. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos also exist in large numbers. All meals and overnight at Maasai Mara. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Full Board

After breakfast, proceed on a morning game drive until time for lunch at the Camp. After lunch, transfer to the Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Diani departing at 1400hrs to arrive at 1625hrs. Met on arrival at Ukunda Airstrip and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight at Diani Beach. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Half Board

Spend the whole day at leisure at Diani Beach with lunch at your arrangement. Dinner and overnight at Diani Beach. Accommodation: Overnight at the accommodation of your choice. Meal Plan: Half Board

Breakfast and check out from the Hotel. Thereafter depending on your international flight departure time, transfer to Ukunda Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi (Wilson Airport). On arrival at Wilson Airport, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight. END OF SERVICES!
