Samburu Game Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine riverine forest on the western bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya at an altitude of 857 meters above sea level. The Samburu National Reserve, conjoined with the smaller but no less attractive Buffalo Springs Reserve, lies a mere 320 kilometers from Nairobi.
This is true wilderness, and home to varieties of animals and birds rarely seen in other parts of the country. Here are to be found the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, the Reticulated giraffe, and Blue Shanked Somali ostrich.

Samburu Sopa Lodge lies on elevated land within the Samburu National Park, located in Northern Kenya. Designed with local Samburu community influences, the lodge commands views across shrubland and distant hills with animals given space to roam freely between the main area and cottages. Accommodation is set out in a semicircle, facing a waterhole frequented by wildlife. Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is a relaxed tented camp set along the narrow Ewaso Ngiro River. The main mess tent overlooks the Ol Pejeta plains on the other side of the river. Sip your morning coffee while watching weaver birds flutter around the fever trees outside and spend evenings with a glass of wine by the fireplace. The campfire is where guests can gather to share stories and get to know one another after the afternoon game drive.
