Named after the dam it is situated on, the Ashnil Aruba Lodge offers guests a tranquil setting in which to relax and explore the wildlife-rich Tsavo East National Park. Voi Safari Lodge is strategically located in one of the World’s Largest Game Park-the Tsavo National Park. It stands high above the town of Voi overlooking a vast expanse of the African Bush. Voi Safari Lodge is 160km from the Mombasa Kenya coast.

You can simply watch the herds of wild animals roam beneath you or you can get closer on a game viewing drive by a network of access roads reaching into many corners of this 11,666 square kilometers Tsavo East National Park. There is a special hide in the lodge, for the camera enthusiasts to afford close-up and candid pictures of the wild animals which do not suspect any human presence. This is an ideal spot from which to go out in search of the BIG FIVE- Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, and Rhino.

Nestled amongst trees and surrounding a central water hole, the semi-circular layout of the camp provides an excellent viewing point for each of our guests. Satao Camp has 20 tents, all e-suite, thoughtfully positioned to ensure a full view of the camp’s “own” watering hole.

The 20 tents are made up of 16 family tents and 4 suites each tent is constructed of sisal and boroti poles topped with a makuti roof, only the front of the tent is visible as each tent has its own patio with table and chairs.

The tents are exquisite; all are attractively furnished with locally made beds and unique African designs. Each spacious tent has a private bathroom with running water. The shower however is in the true African style, whereby the camp staff bring hot water in the evening. The bathrooms are very spacious, with slate floors with stunning wooden frameworks, the wash basins sunken into the structure, all fitted with flushing toilets. The suites have authentic antique writing desks and beautiful African beds and cushion covers. Comfort and the personal touch are what we provide you with in the bush to ensure your stay with us is one that you will never forget.

Sentrim Tsavo East lies in the southeast of the Tsavo East National Park, arguably Kenya’s largest park and one of the oldest. The lodge is humble and rustic, inspired by the designs of olden-day pioneer camps, with a relaxed atmosphere that carries through from the main tent to the individual tented rooms. A wonderful viewing deck is located around the main area, marking the ideal spot to watch animals gathering at a nearby watering hole.

The tented accommodation is spread out and set privately deep in the bush with elevated decks complete with chairs and tables. The camp is fenced allowing guests to view larger animals such as elephants, at a safe distance and guests can cool down in the camp’s swimming pool which offers plenty of seating and space. Dining takes place in a communal tent-style structure, with canvas walls and a reeded roof, and meals are served buffet-style or a la carte. A variety of activities can be arranged by the lodge, from guided nature walks to Masai cultural village visits and talks.
