5 National Parks in 7 Days, Kenya Safari

We will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel, residence, or the Nairobi airport at 07:30 hrs.
We will head out in your private 4 x 4 safari Van, on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. This is a relaxing drive through African savannah country, with local homesteads punctuating the vast plain.
Watch for Maasai herdsmen, draped in colorful wraps as they tend to their flocks. We should arrive in Amboseli National Park in the late morning. Entering the park, you can’t miss the wall of a mountain to the south – this is legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro, known as the “roof of Africa”, rising to 19,340 feet. It’s the continent’s tallest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
This is the backdrop to much of the park’s wildlife and is always a gift to photographers, so have your camera ready for the next 3 days!
We’ll enjoy lunch at your accommodation and then head out for an afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is known for its relative ease in wildlife spotting. All of Africa’s Big Five are here, including zebra, giraffe, cheetah, warthog, ostrich, and many more. Toward evening, the cloud cover obscuring Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit may clear, giving us one of Africa’s most striking vistas.

We like to rise early while on safari to set an adventurous tone for the day. We’ll watch the light breaking upon the park and catch the wildlife as it appears on the savannah. Our next assignment: breakfast! And then another morning game drive through the park. One of the advantages of Amboseli is that the terrain is open with thin foliage. This makes the game spotting easier.
We’ll be watching for lions and leopards and the park’s almost ever-present great parade of elephants. Seeing the magnificent elephants patrolling in line before the majesty of Kilimanjaro is a special treat of this reserve. Lunch at your accommodation is next and perhaps some relaxing time. The day is yours to pace as you want.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive at your designated lodge for check-in followed by lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon either relaxing or going for a walk on the wildlife-infested Crescent Island. Crescent Island is situated in the middle of the freshwater lake. It is quite an experience to walk amongst giraffes, antelopes, and wildebeest, and gives you a new perspective of nature and animals close up on foot. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Hotel

After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at your Camp.
After lunch, enjoy an afternoon unlimited game drive around Masai Mara National Reserve. You may encounter some of the “Big Five” and you will most certainly be impressed by the wide
variety of species present in this area. The Maasai Mara has the highest concentration of land mammals compared to any other park or reserve in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara.

Spend the whole day with unlimited game drives exploring the Mara, home to the proud and traditional Maasai tribe. The Mara is more than just the most popular wildlife park in the country and in many cases, it is the reason why people come to visit Kenya. This is a classic African savanna, and the sheer density of wildlife is amazing. Gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra graze in large numbers, and where prey is found so are predators. Watered by the Mara River and its tributary the Talek, the park here compromises 1510sq kilometers of open grassland tucked away in the southwest corner of the country. In the Mara, you will see an astonishing amount of wildlife, including the big cats, where lions are found in large pride everywhere and it is not uncommon to see them hunting. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still fairly common. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos also exist in large numbers. All meals and overnight at Maasai Mara

Another day full of wildlife viewing drives. You may choose to have the full-day game drives or game drives in separate sessions so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities. The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on
your preferences.
It is also an opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch the game (at extra cost) or visit the Maasai village and learn more about the Maasai community and their way of life.

Wake up early in the morning for a last-game drive and have breakfast thereafter. At around 1000 Hrs. begin your drive back to Nairobi to arrive late afternoon. On arrival drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your outbound flight.
