Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by the Norine Forbes Safaris team. After a short briefing, depart Nairobi and drive towards the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a 1-hour boat ride on the lake, where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife. This is followed by a guided walk on Crescent Island, a unique sanctuary where you can walk freely among giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other plains game. Return to your lodge in the evening.

Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately a one-hour drive. Upon arrival, proceed with a guided game drive as you make your way towards the lodge. Check in around noon and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out again for a game drive from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Lake Nakuru is known for its rhino sanctuary, offering good chances to see both black and white rhinos. The park is also home to lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and a wide range of birdlife. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Later in the afternoon, head out for a game drive from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is your first introduction to the Mara's vast plains, where wildlife is abundant and sightings are often rewarding.

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the reserve with a full-day game drive. With a packed picnic lunch, you will have the flexibility to go deeper into the reserve in search of wildlife. The Maasai Mara is known for its high concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and large herds of herbivores. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration. Your guide will plan the day based on wildlife movement, ensuring you get the best possible experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.
