Group joining safaris share specified transport and activities with other travellers. Private road safaris are arranged around your party. Fly-in journeys add flights between camps. Each offers a different combination of time, privacy and cost.

Understand the accommodation

Compare the actual properties, room types and meal plans, rather than relying on labels such as budget, mid-range or luxury. Ask whether your price is per person sharing and what a single room or family room would cost.

Check the season and dates

A starting price may apply to a particular travel period. Check the validity dates and ask for a quotation for your exact journey. Availability at your preferred camps can also affect the route and cost.

Compare what the price includes

Check park and conservancy fees, guiding, transport, airport transfers, accommodation, meals and domestic flights. Identify any optional activities, drinks or other extras. Two prices are only comparable when they cover the same arrangements.

Plan for your travelling party

Tell us how many adults and children are travelling, children’s ages and the rooms you need. Private vehicle costs and room arrangements can change the per-person price. There is no universal child rate across camps and activities.
