4 Days Kenya's Golden Safari Circuit – Rift Valley Lakes & the Wild Mara

Your safari begins with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at viewpoints to marvel at the dramatic escarpments. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingo-filled shores and diverse birdlife. The park is also a haven for white and black rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive across acacia woodlands, open savannah, and the lakeshore—spotting buffalo herds, warthogs, and possibly the elusive leopard.

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, driving past rolling farmlands and Masai homesteads. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Mara is a wildlife-rich paradise, home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and countless plains game. As the sun sets, watch the savannah come alive with golden hues and wildlife silhouettes.

Rise early for a full-day safari in the Mara. At dawn, predators are on the move, perfect timing for thrilling game viewing. After breakfast, set out across the reserve for a day of discovery: elephant families in the marshes, cheetahs scanning the plains, and giraffes gracefully browsing acacias. During the migration season (July - October), the reserve becomes the stage for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the crocodile-infested Mara River in one of the planet's most dramatic wildlife spectacles. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Maasai village visit, where you'll meet the Maasai people, learn about their traditions, and experience their vibrant dances and culture.

Enjoy a sunrise game drive, catching the morning rhythm of the bush. Return to camp for breakfast, then check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
