Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by a Norine Forbes Safaris representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel. Depending on your arrival time, optional activities can be arranged, such as: A visit to the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed Rothschild giraffes. Exploring the Karen Blixen Museum, home of the famed “Out of Africa” author. Shopping for authentic crafts at Kazuri Beads Centre.

Day 02

Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Nairobi in your private 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser, descending into the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at a viewpoint for panoramic photos. Continue across Masai homelands to arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara’s endless savannahs, tracking elephants, giraffes, zebras, and prides of lions. The Mara is famed for its predator population, and leopards and cheetahs are often sighted here.
