Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), where you’ll be greeted by your dedicated safari representative. Receive a warm welcome and private transfer to your Nairobi hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided excursion to some of Nairobi’s highlights – such as the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, or simply unwind at your hotel in preparation for the safari ahead.

After breakfast, depart by luxury 4x4 Land Cruiser for Amboseli National Park, driving through Kenya’s scenic countryside dotted with vibrant markets and Maasai homesteads. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, overlooking the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro rising magnificently in the background. In the afternoon, venture on your first game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its immense herds of elephants, often seen in dramatic procession across the dusty terrain. Lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and wildebeest also roam these open plains. Wake to the sounds of Africa’s dawn chorus. After breakfast, embark on a full day of exploration in Amboseli. With Kilimanjaro’s backdrop ever-present, you’ll encounter a wide variety of wildlife, from buffaloes wallowing in marshlands to flamingos shimmering on seasonal lakes. Break for a picnic lunch in the wild, soaking in uninterrupted views of the park’s breathtaking landscapes. After breakfast, set out for Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest and oldest park, covering over 13,000 km² of untamed wilderness. Upon entering, the landscapes transform dramatically — rugged hills, acacia woodlands, and the famous red-earth plains. Check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is celebrated for its unique “red elephants”, dust-bathing in the ochre soil, as well as a chance to spot lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. The vastness of the park gives it an otherworldly feel — a true safari frontier.

Spend the day immersed in Tsavo East’s raw beauty. Visit the Aruba Dam, a magnet for elephants, buffaloes, and countless birdlife. Drive across the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow, and marvel at its geological grandeur. Your guide will lead you through diverse habitats, ensuring sightings of both iconic and lesser-known species. As dusk falls, witness the silhouettes of giraffes against a fiery red sky, one of Africa’s most unforgettable sights.

After breakfast, depart Tsavo and drive to Mombasa, a journey of approximately four hours. Arrive at your beach hotel in time for lunch. The change in environment is immediate, from dry bush to warm coastal air. The afternoon is free to relax. You can enjoy the beach, the pool, or simply take it easy after the safari.

Today is at leisure. You may choose to relax at the hotel or explore some of the coastal highlights. Optional activities include visiting Fort Jesus, walking through Mombasa Old Town, or trying out water sports such as snorkeling and diving. There are also opportunities for dhow cruises, cultural tours, or simply enjoying fresh seafood by the ocean.

Enjoy your final morning on the Kenyan coast, soaking in the tranquility of Mombasa. After breakfast, transfer to Moi International Airport for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi.
