Terms & Conditions

(Applicable to all safaris and travel packages organized by Norine Forbes Safaris Ltd.)

 

  1. Reservations & Payments

A 30% deposit of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking to secure accommodations, transport, and park entry permits.

The balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure.

For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or approved mobile money platforms.

 

  1. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

More than 60 days before travel: Full refund less administrative fee (10%).

30–59 days before travel: 50% of total safari cost retained.

15–29 days before travel: 75% of total safari cost retained.

0–14 days before travel or no-show: 100% of total safari cost retained.

Refunds will be processed within 30 working days after official cancellation notice.

 

  1. Amendments by the Client

Amendments to confirmed bookings (e.g., change of dates, accommodations) will be subject to availability and any additional costs incurred.

A small administration fee may apply.

 

  1. Amendments by the Company

Norine Forbes Safaris reserves the right to adjust itineraries, accommodations, or transport where unavoidable (e.g., weather, park regulations, safety issues).

Where changes are significant, clients will be notified promptly and offered alternative arrangements of equal value or the option of a refund (less services already rendered).

 

  1. Safari Transport & Game Drives

Safaris are conducted in custom 4×4 Safari Land Cruisers with professional driver-guides.

Game drives are unlimited within the planned schedule but subject to park regulations and safety guidelines.

Bottled drinking water is provided during safaris.

 

  1. Accommodation

Accommodation is based on standard rooms, unless otherwise requested.

Upgrades (e.g., luxury tents, suites) are available at additional cost.

 

  1. Health & Insurance

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the required vaccinations, medical precautions, and travel insurance.

Insurance must cover medical expenses, personal accidents, trip cancellations, and baggage loss.

 

  1. Liability Disclaimer

While Norine Forbes Safaris takes utmost care to provide safe, enjoyable experiences, travel inherently involves risks.

The company shall not be held liable for: Delays, cancellations, or missed services caused by natural disasters, weather, strikes, or government actions. Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

Injury, illness, or death not directly caused by negligence of the company or its employees.

 

  1. Wildlife & Safety Guidelines

Clients must follow the instructions of guides and park authorities at all times.

Approaching or feeding wild animals is strictly prohibited.

The company reserves the right to withdraw services from any client whose behavior may jeopardize safety or enjoyment of others.

 

  1. Children Policy

Children are welcome on safari, but parents/guardians are fully responsible for their safety.

Some camps/lodges may have age restrictions, which will be communicated at booking.

 

  1. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (war, pandemic, political unrest, natural disaster, etc.), Norine Forbes Safaris may alter or cancel services. Clients will be refunded or credited for unused services, less any unrecoverable costs.

 

  1. Governing Law

All contracts are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes shall be settled under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
